This is our first social media hire, which means you'll be defining how Gail shows up in the world. Your north star is brand-led pipeline: turning founder-led content, social presence, and storytelling into qualified attention from banks, credit unions, insurance carriers, lenders, and collections operations. You'll report directly to the CEO.
The work.
- Own founder-led content: The founding team has seen strong results using limited social posts across the main social channels, and are looking to triple down on it. You ghostwrite, produce, edit, and ship founder content across LinkedIn, X, and short-form video.
- Run our social channels end-to-end: LinkedIn is your primary stage. TikTok and Instagram are secondary. You build the calendar, write the posts, ship the assets, and measure what lands.
- Produce short-form video: Clips from podcasts, panels, customer calls, internal moments. You have an eye for what travels and the editing chops to ship without waiting on an agency.
- Cover our events: Miami Tech Week, customer dinners, panels, conferences. You're on the ground with a camera, capturing the moments that become content for the next 90 days.
- Build our content engine: Repurpose every long-form asset — podcasts, panels, customer interviews, blog posts — into 10+ pieces of social content. Nothing gets shipped once.
- Engage in public: Reply, comment, DM. You build relationships with operators, founders, and customers in the comment section. Social is a two-way channel.
- Measure what matters: Impressions are vanity. We track inbound, qualified conversations, and pipeline influenced. You'll assist in developing systems for lead attribution across the board.
The profile.
- 2-4 years of social or content marketing: ideally at a venture-backed startup, media company, or founder-led brand. B2B experience a plus, but a sharp B2C operator who wants to go enterprise is welcome.
- Native to LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram: You've grown an account — your own or someone else's — and can show the work. You understand the algorithms, the formats, and what makes a post travel.
- Video-native: CapCut, Premiere, Descript, or equivalent. You can edit a 60-second clip in an hour and a thumbnail in 15 minutes. You don't need an agency for everything.
- Strong writer: You can write in someone else's voice. You understand hooks, pacing, and how to write for the scroll. You've ghostwritten before or can prove you can.
- Genuine aesthetic sensibility: You know the difference between a good fintech brand and a generic one. You have taste and you protect it.
- Self-directed and scrappy: You don't wait for a brief. You see the moment, capture it, ship it, and report back with data.
- Comfortable being in the room: You'll be at dinners, panels, offices, and events with camera in hand. You read the room and know when to shoot and when to put the phone away.
We are not looking for someone who needs a content calendar handed to them, a creative director above them, or six weeks to ramp. We want someone ready to run on day one.
